What is your favourite song in the show to perform?

You Never Give Me Your Money

What is your favourite Beatles song to listen to?

A Day in the Life

What is your favourite Beatles album?

Early - Rubber Soul. Later - the White Album.

How did you get into The Beatles?

The Beatles are so embedded in music culture that it was impossible to avoid their influence. I remember when 'Free as a Bird' was first played on Radio 1, I was just getting up for school, and that Ringo drum fill at the start blasted through this wee red radio my Dad had in the kitchen. I remember him turning it right up and what came through that speaker truly affected me. You couldn't ignore how much love surrounds them. The incessant referencing to them by everyone I loved as a young kid, whether that was theatrical American 70s rock, British Indie or singer songwriters.   When I was about 14 I decided to cut out the middle man and I bought my own copy of the Blue Album. I've been obsessed ever since.

What other music/bands do you like?

Ah, I love it all! From David Bowie to Billie Eilish, QOTSA, Miike Snow, Led Zeppelin, Supergrass, Early Alice Cooper, Rammstein, Prince, Prodigy, Johnny Cash to give you a taste. Anyone who can write a great song or create something that moves you.

Who is your favourite Beatle?

John. There's no getting away from it.

Which gig has been your favourite so far?

Our first show at St. Luke's was magical. So much went into it, and it seemed like we were taking a huge punt, so to get the feeling onstage and the response from the crowd that we did was massively encouraging.

Funniest off-stage story with the band.

It's a gas playing music with Paul Adams again, as he was my guitar teacher from when I was at school. He makes everything funnier. Like when he and I were driving to a show in his car and he had a tyre blowout, which would have rendered me, Basil Fawlty style, attacking the car with a branch. But Paul just laughed his head off through the whole thing. Which is a vital skill when you're travelling around playing music. He's really the heart of the band.
