‘Although there weren’t any musicians in my household growing up there was never a lack of music. Some of my fondest early memories are rifling through my parents CD and record collections before retreating to my room to spin everything from ‘Hunky Dory’ to ‘Computer World’.

One record stopped me in my tracks. I remember sitting and squinting at the jewel case trying to make out all the faces on the cover whilst being overwhelmed by the different tones and settings coming through the speakers. After the CD whizzed to a halt I remember going downstairs and asking my mother “Who is Sergeant Pepper, does he have any other albums?”.

Once I had been set straight on a few basics I delved into the rest of The Beatles’ back catalogue, increasing in my disbelief with each new album. The question I was asking myself back then is the same one I’m still asking now “How could so much great music have come from just four people?”

As we get older musical tastes tend to flip back and forth between genres and artists, but for me The Beatles have remained a constant. The gold standard. I couldn’t be more excited to be part of this project and can’t wait to be in rooms filled with likeminded fans basking in the presence of this amazing music.’
