What is your favourite song in the show to perform?

Probably Golden Slumbers / carry that weight and the end or what has become known and the Abbey Road ‘Trilogy’. For me, it’s a moment where the fabs and George Martin are at the peak of their powers. A fitting way to end a show, and an album.!

What is your favourite Beatles song to listen to?

So many, where do we begin? But I have to say my favourite is probably Strawberry Fields Forever.

What is your favourite Beatles album?

Abbey Road. It’s a close one between abbey Road and Peppers but I think AR just nicks it.

'How did you get into The Beatles?' or 'what is your earliest memory of The Beatles?'

It really came from listening to my dad’s records when I was a kid. He had a revolver vinyl which he played along with the ‘blue’ greatest hits album. That was really where it all started.

Who is your favourite Beatle?

Ringo, of course!

Which gig has been your favourite so far?

I think the Glasgow Pavilion was special as it was almost one year to the day that we launched ATU. So to play such an iconic Glasgow venue in the space of 12 months was a special night.

If you could add one song from the earlier part of The Beatles career to the set which would it be and why?

I suppose I will say ‘In My Life’ from Rubber Soul. One of my favourite Lennon compositions. It’s probably resonant of the shift that was happening at that time, as the band were moving into the studio. But aside from that, just a beautiful, poignant song.
